Since 1925, when the Bay St.
Louis Rotary Club formed the Hancock Chamber, we have been
the voice of the business community. While helping our nearly
800 member businesses grow and expand, we've played a pro-active
role to turn Hancock County into one of the best places
in the country to live, work and raise a family.
This is accomplished through
five areas of focus:
- Partnerships with
other area economic development and business service agencies
such as the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission,
The Arts, and the Tourism Commission;
- Technical Assistance
to small businesses through our Business Assistance Center;
on site at the Chamber Office you can access resources
through the Mississippi Small Business Development Center
and the SBA Disaster Loan Program; these resources can
refer you to other sources to help your business grow
and expand;

Public Affairs Advocacy
to evaluate, assess, educate and/or represent the business
community in any existing or emerging issue;
- Membership Services
to provide visibility and networking; and,
- Community Development
to foster smart growth.
