On Thursday, July 13 from 5-7pm, the Hancock Chamber’s new Young Professionals Networking Group is hosting a session for first time home buyers at a home in Hancock Heights in Bay St. Louis that is on the market at 240 Pine Driveway. Chaired by Mary Wilson Cowand of Keesler Federal Credit Union and Bailey Braswell of Edward Jones Investment Services, membership is open to anyone 40 and under (or the young at heart).
“There are so many young professionals who live in Hancock County now, and they are looking for a way to connect,” said Mary Cowand. “Through the Hancock Young Professionals, we are going to give them this opportunity and provide them with information they need to improve their quality of life,” she said.
Bailey Braswell said anyone who is interested in being a part of this networking group should attend this session that focuses on resources for first time homebuyers. “Whether you are in the market for a new home or not, this event is a great way to expand your network,” he said.
The annual fee to join is only $75 and feature four major networking events annually. The next event will be on Thursday, September 28th at Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company and on December 7th. Sponsors for the Homebuyers Session include: John McDonald Realty, the Hancock Resource Center, Southgroup Insurance Services, Keesler Federal Credit Union and the Hancock Chamber of Commerce.
