The Harrison County Tourism Commission, an organization charged with promoting South Mississippi as a tourism and convention destination worldwide, does business as the Mississippi Gulf Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau.  Its mission centers on attracting ever-increasing numbers of leisure, convention, sports and business visitors to the area.  It is dedicated to maximizing the travel and tourism industry for South Mississippi.

This organization has brought together tourism interests from the three Mississippi coastal counties.  Their website has a convenient trip planning feature and offers special packages for accommodations and golfing trips.

“Helping to transform Mississippi one small business at a time.”  Investor assistance, free business videos and info on technology transfer, workshops, government contracts and international trade.  The Gulf Coast SBDC is a partnership with SBA, the Mississippi Legislature and the University of Mississippi.

Is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to creating high-skill, high-wage jobs in Mississippi. MsET taps the scientific and technical assets of the state to promote industrial growth, stimulate new business start-ups, and attract companies to Mississippi.  MsET is a joint effort of the Mississippi Development Authority, NASA and Mississippi’s universities.
