Chamber annual meeting focuses on status of recovery
projects in Hancock County

The Hancock Chamber will host its Annual Membership
Meeting on Friday, January 29th from 8am - 9am at the
Diamondhead Country Club.
The featured speaker for the event is Jon Mabry, head of
the Recovery Division for the Mississippi Development
Authority. Mabry will provide Chamber members and
interested citizens with an up-date on recovery projects
in Hancock County. The cost to attend is $15 per person
and includes a full breakfast buffet. Doors open to the
public at 7:30am.
The Chamber will provide members with an up-date on the
Job Generation Fund, a $ 3million low
interest/forgivable loan program for small businesses in
Hancock County. David Holman of The Peoples Bank, 2009
President, will provide the annual report. Tommy Murphy
of Mississippi Power will be installed as the 2010
President and will present major goals for the year.
Other offices to be installed include: Angelyn Treutel,
Vice President in charge of Member Services and
President Elect; Tish Williams, Secretary and Executive
Director; Ray Montjoy, CPA, Treasurer; Guy Johnson and
David Holman, Officers.
The newly elected members to the board will also be
announced. |
