Four outstanding local businesses have been elected to be the 2025 Hancock Chamber Businesses of the Year. Elected by members of the Chamber out of a field of impressive nominees, they will be recognized for excellence in service, innovation, and community engagement at this year’s annual Awards Gala—a red carpet event—happening August 28, 2025 at the Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast.

Bay St. Louis Business of the Year: Fleurty Girl

In Bay St. Louis, Fleurty Girl took top honors for its unique blend of Southern charm and local creativity. Founded by Lauren LeBlanc Haydel, the boutique offers a curated collection of goods that reflect the spirit of the Gulf Coast—local art, handcrafted gifts, branded merchandise, and even bike rentals and lodging for visitors. More than a store, Fleurty Girl has become a destination and a symbol of Bay St. Louis pride.

Nominees included Gulf Coast Home, Lagarde’s Fine Wine and Spirits, and Rosetti’s Liquor Barrel.

Diamondhead Business of the Year: Aloha Wine & Spirits

Aloha Wine & Spirits was named Diamondhead’s Business of the Year, recognized for delivering high-quality wines and spirits in a welcoming, expertly guided shopping environment. Known for its thoughtful customer service and well-curated inventory, Aloha has become a trusted name in the community, where personal relationships and product knowledge set them apart.

Nominees included Hoda Chiropractic Clinic and Ochsner Health Center.

Waveland Business of the Year: Keesler Federal Credit Union – Waveland Branch

Keesler Federal Credit Union’s Waveland Branch was awarded for its extensive community involvement and financial leadership. Beyond banking, the branch has played a major role in local events like Cruisin’ the Coast and Halloween festivities, and has supported nonprofits like CASA, Relay for Life, and the Waveland Senior Citizens Center.

Branch Manager Jill Barnett’s leadership earned her the 2024 Rotarian of the Year award, highlighting her commitment to community service and financial education.

Nominees included Bayou Automotive, Gurley & Associates, and Tengda Hibachi.

Kiln/Hancock County Business of the Year: MeMe’s Family Restaurant & Bar

MeMe’s Family Restaurant & Bar has won hearts and appetites across Hancock County with its comfort food and family-style service. Known for dishes like stuffed burgers, roast beef po-boys, gumbo, and signature beignets, MeMe’s has become a beloved gathering spot where guests feel like family.

Nominees included Coastal Environmental Services, FNB Bank, and Woolpert.
