Old Town Bay St. Louis will be buzzing with excitement on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 11am-3pm at the Hancock County Historic Courthouse as two major community events come together for one unforgettable day: Bud & Burgers in the Bay and Port Air Space Day in the Bay 2025. Families can enjoy great food, science, music, and activities all in one spot—a true showcase of Hancock County’s culture, cuisine, and innovation.

Bud & Burgers in the Bay

Presented by the Hancock Chamber of Commerce and chaired by Rich Chase of the Silber Slipper Casino Hotel, Bud & Burgers in the Bay is a sizzling burger competition where grill masters, chefs, and restaurants compete for bragging rights as the Bay’s best burger.

Guests can sample their way through the competition with tickets at $20 for adults and $5 for kids ages 5–11. Tastings included for all entry tickets as supplies last. From bold flavors to backyard classics, this foodie favorite draws crowds for the past three years and this year will be no exception. This event offers a prime opportunity for businesses and organizations to reach thousands of locals and visitors. Assume Risk will set the stage for the foodie vibe will the jumbotron will broadcast your favorite football games at the Tasting Booth, sponsored by Mitchell Distributing. The competition is limited to the first 20 teams that sign up. All are welcome to compete so register your team before the slots are sold out. Sponsorships are also available. Tickets for the event can be purchased at the gate on event day.

Port Air Space Day in the Bay 2025

Hosted by Partners for Stennis & Michoud, and presented by the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission, Port Air Space Day celebrates Hancock County’s role in the sea, air, and space industries with engaging and educational activities for all ages. Janice Guido of Bay Life Gifts, chair of the event, says groups and businesses can get involved by showcasing their products and services to families, students, and STEM enthusiasts.
