Annual gala returns Thursday, August 27; nominations, sponsorships, and seat reservations now open
The Hancock Chamber is now accepting nominations for the Annual Awards Gala, A Night of Stars, set for Thursday, August 27, 5:30pm, at Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast.
Each year, the Chamber recognizes the businesses, industries, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders whose contributions help move Hancock County beyond the horizon. From outstanding customer service and business growth to volunteerism and community impact, the awards celebrate those making a difference across our county.
Award categories include Business of the Year for each city and the county, Top 10 Outstanding Citizens and Citizen of the Year, Industry of the Year, and Nonprofit of the Year.
Known as Hancock County's version of the Academy Awards, the annual gala draws more than 450 attendees for an evening of celebration featuring a reception, dinner, video tributes, award presentations, and a silent auction benefiting the Hancock County Community Development Foundation.
"Every year, we're inspired by the remarkable people and organizations make our communities thrive," said Hancock Chamber Executive Director Tish Williams. "This is an opportunity to recognize those who go above and beyond and deserve to be celebrated."
Community members are encouraged to submit nominations for deserving businesses, nonprofits, and individuals.
Nominations are now open, and sponsorships, tables, and individual seat reservations are available. The event traditionally sells out.
