The Hancock Chamber of Commerce has welcomed the 2026–2027 Leadership Hancock County
Class, continuing a 30-year tradition of developing leaders and strengthening connections
throughout Hancock County.
Established in 1996, Leadership Hancock County has graduated more than 500 participants. The
program gives class members a closer look at the businesses, industries, organizations and
issues that shape Hancock County through a series of interactive sessions held throughout the
year. Participants build relationships, expand their knowledge of the community and
strengthen their leadership skills.
The 2026–2027 class includes Matthew Armstrong, Hancock County Library System; Jessica
Baker, Hancock County School District; Geoff Belcher, Sea Coast Echo; Forrest Boutte, Mayley’s
Pest Control; Jordan Bradford, Hancock Resource Center; Brittni Brdecka, Zimmerman Family
Dentistry; Vanessa Chatelain, SMPDD; Tiffany Cowman, Hancock County Board of Supervisors;
Bruce Dent, Community Bank of Mississippi; James Dobson, Mississippi Power; Joseph Eagle,
SouthGroup Insurance Services; Linda Garcia, The City of Bay St. Louis; Melanie Hotard, Ochsner
Health; and Camille Keith, Hancock County Board of Supervisors.
Also participating are Joshua Kennedy, CoastConnect; Rachel Knight, Pyron Coastal Insurance;
Cameron Ladner, Ladner Insurance Agency; Vanesa Martinez, Hancock County School District;
Trent Necaise, SABIC; Patches Oliver, Hancock County School District; Courtney Peterson,
Edward Jones; Sidney Reesor, Keesler Federal Credit Union; Donna Rubio, Hancock County Port
and Harbor Commission; Leslie Sackett Jr., Silver Slipper Casino; Recinda Smith, Ochsner Health
Hancock; Angi Truebner-Webb, Silver Slipper Casino; Joshua Ulrich, Coast Electric; and Sallie
West, Hancock County Human Resource Agency.
The program chaired by Janell Nolan of Coast Electric Power Association and is made possible
through the support of community partners committed to developing strong, informed and
engaged leaders.
Applications for the 2027–2028 Leadership Hancock County Class will be accepted June 1
through July 31, 2027. Applicants must live or work in Hancock County. More information and
applications will be available through the Hancock Chamber when the application period opens.
