The Hancock Chamber Catalyst Grant Program helps small businesses invest in projects that increase revenue, improve operations, create jobs, and strengthen Hancock County's economy.
In 2026, up to 35 Chamber member businesses will receive matching reimbursement grants of up to $1,500 to invest in business growth.
Who Is Eligible?
To qualify for the Catalyst Grant Program, applicants must:
- Be a current Hancock Chamber member
- Have been in business for at least three years
- Employ 50 or fewer employees
- Be in good standing with the Hancock Chamber
- Operate within the Hancock Chamber service area
- Complete the online application
- Participate in the Chamber's Small Business b(AI)sics training program
- Submit project receipts by December 31, 2026
How Does the Grant Work?
The Catalyst Grant is a matching reimbursement grant, meaning you invest in your project first and are reimbursed after the project is completed and approved.

Is Everyone Guaranteed a Grant?
No.
The Catalyst Grant Program is competitive. Applications are reviewed by an independent committee based on:

When Will I Receive My Grant?
Grant funds are reimbursed after:
- Your project is completed.
- Receipts and required documentation are submitted.
- The Chamber approves your reimbursement.
Is the AI Training Required?
Yes.
All grant recipients must complete the Chamber's Small Business b(AI)sics training program. The training is offered at no cost and may be completed either online or in person.
